Donald J. Mauss, 35, New Albin, died Monday, April 15, 1985, in LaCrosse Lutheran Hospital.
He was born September 1, 1949, in LaCrosse to Connie and Beatrice (Blake) Mauss. He married Kathryn Meyer on March 17, 1973 in Kaukauna, Wisconsin.
He was a graduate of St. George High School in Lansing.
Survivors are his wife; his parents of New Albin; a son Peter at home; three daughters, Rebecca, Amanda and Shannon, all at home; seven brothers, Richard, Gerald, Alan, George and Gary, all of New Albin, and Kenneth and Steven, both of LaCrosse; and two sisters, Karen Olson of Onalaska, Wis., and Barbara Haines of Rice Lake, Wisc.
Services were held Wednesday, April 17 at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, New Albin. The Rev. Robert Rahe officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.
