The death of Karen Weipert, Waterville, occurred on August 3 at Madison, Wis. following a motorcycle accident at which time she was injured. Funeral services were held from the Waterville Lutheran Church on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. with Rev. Ronald Brugger officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Karen was born April 5, 1946 at Waukon, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Weipert. She completed her education at the Waukon High School and was employed at the electronics plant in McGregor.
She is survived by her parents, one son Curtis, a brother Charles Weipert, San Diego, Calif. and a sister Peggy at home.
Martin Bros. Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
