The death of Clarence Alfred Sheffelbine (sic), 59, of Waukon occurred at University Hospitals, Iowa City, on Monday May 27.
Funeral services were held on Thursday at 3 p.m. from Martin Bros. Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gerald McGee officiating. Burial was in the Dorchester Methodist Cemetery.
Alfred Sheffelbine was a son of Albert and Clara Goodno Sheffelbine and was born on July 14, 1914 in Houston County, Minn. He was married in Waukon on November 26, 1946 to Evelyn King who survives with a daughter, Mrs. Robert Hamann (Bernadine) of Marquette, Iowa. There is one grandchild, two brothers, Malcolm of Dorchester and Norris of Waukon; three sisters, Gladys of Dorchester, Mary and Mrs. Erling Lundering, both of New Albin.
