Funeral services were held on Friday for James J. Glynn, 75, who died on Tuesday evening, May 28 in a LaCrosse hospital.
He was born at Cherry Mound on June 16, 1898 to John and Rose Egan Glynn. He never married.
He was a toy designer for 34 years in the toy department of Lansing Company. He moved to Waukon shortly after the Lansing Company discontinued it's toy operation.
Survivors include one brother, Edward, of Lansing, and a sister, Mrs. Gertrude McQuillen of LaCrosse, Wisconsin.
Rev. John Karat officiated at the 10 a.m. services held at I.C. Church in Lansing. Interment was in the St. Pius Cemetery at Cherry Mound.
Pallbearers were Frank Ryan, John Scholtes, Dan Brennan, Ted Strong, Leo Johnston and Tim Egan. Burke-Thornburg was in charge of arrangements.
