LANSING, Ia. - Services for Edward J. Sheriff, 80, of Lansing were held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church here. Burial was in Gethsemane Cemetery.

Mr. Sheriff died Sunday morning in Veterans Memorial Hospital, Waukon, Ia.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Agnes Knickerbocker of Lansing and Mrs. Delores Spores of St. Louis, Mo.; nine granchildren, 14 great-granchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, and three brothers, Jasper of Lansing, and Merlin and Forest, both of Dubuque.

The Burke-Thornburg Funeral Home of Lansing was in charge of arrangements.
