Albert A. Fiet Interred Friday

Funeral services were held Friday, January 18 at 1:30 p.m. from Bethlehem Presbyterian church for Albert A. Fiet, 77, who died Wednesday, January 16 at his home. The Rev. Keith Kensinger officiated and interment was in the church cemetery.

Mr. Fiet was born January 29, 1896 in Allamakee county the son of Conrad and Caroline Flage Fiet. He attended the local schools and was employed as a farmer and trucker.

April 20, 1896 he married Nora Blum, who survives with a son Robert of Postville and a daughter Mrs. Willard (Mildred) Adam, also of Postville.

Eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren, two brothers, Walter of Postville and Paul of Waukon and two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Stock and Mrs. George (Martha) Winke of Waukon, also survive.

Mr. Fiet was a member of the Bethlehem Presbyterian Church.
