Services Held For Accident Victim

Funeral services were held Thursday, April 28, at 1:30 p.m. at the Schutte Funeral Home, Postville, for Mrs. Donald Kohrs of near Tampa, Florida, who lost her life as the result of an automobile accident near Riverview, Florida, April 23. The Rev. August Limkemann officiated.

Born December 25, 1924, at Leola, South Dakota, Clara was the daughter of William and Magdelena Limkemann. She attended school at Sutter, Illinois and the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois.

December 22, 1947 she was united in marriage with Donald Kohrs. The couple lived in the Postville area prior to moving to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where they lived for 22 years. The last 3½ years they have lived in the Tampa, Florida area. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gibsonton, Florida.

Preceding her in death were her parents, one son, Daniel in April 1976; a brother Daniel and a sister Bertha.

Survivors include her husband, one son Douglas, one daughter, Mrs. John (Connie) Szada; three granddaughters, Teresa Marie, Charlene Denise and Stephanie Ann; seven brothers: Gottlieb "Shorty" of Castalia; Henry of Denver, Iowa; John of Cedar Rapids; Paul of Royal Oaks, Michigan; Rev. August "Gus" of Eldora; Joseph of Cedar Falls and David of Waverly; two sisters: Mrs. Eugene (Mary) Perry of West Union and Mrs. Warren (Rose) Barker, Postville.

Interment was in the Postville cemetery.
