Waukon relatives received word on Saturday of the death of Mrs. Lewis Deal at her home in Newton, Iowa. Deceased will be remembered as Miss Lizzine Hager, daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Simon Hager of Ludlow township where she was born and grew to womanhood. Since her marriage to Mr. Deal they have resided at Newton. Besides her husband she is survived by two children.

Funeral services were held there Tuesday afternoon and among those from Waukon in attendance were her sisters, Mrs. Will Toney and family, Mrs. Albert Hager & family, Mrs. Ed Helming and Mrs. Dave Bauercamper. Another sister, Mrs. Dave Flage of Waukon survives.
