Harvey Pausch
Funeral services for Harvey Pausch, a former area farmer, were held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26 at the United Methodist Church, Forest Mills. Burial was in Postville Cemetery. Martin's funeral home, Waukon, was in charge of arrangements.
Harvey Phillip Pausch, son of Henry and Martha (Stock) Pausch was born Aug. 18, 1901 in Ludlow township. He died Jan. 23, 1984 at the Good Samaritan Center, Waukon.
He was baptized and confirmed in the Bethlehem Presbyterian Church in Ludlow township. He attended the rural school in Ludlow and high school in Waukon.
He married Florence Thornton Feb. 11, 1931 at the Bethlehem Presbyterian Church. They were the parents of two sons. He farmed in Ludlow until 1982 when he entered the Good Samaritan Center.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Forest Mills.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Florence.
He is survived by his two sons, Marlin, Postville and Bernard, Bowling Green, OH; and six grandchildren, Patty, Penny, James, Evelyn, Rose Marie and Rita Kay Pausch.
