Leone Rose (Stafford) Hegeman

Leone Rose Stafford Hegeman, 87, of Naperville, IL, formerly of Waukon, died Sunday, October 26, 2008 at St. Patrick's Residence in Naperville, IL.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 29 at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home in Waukon, with Rev. Lynn Groe officiating. Burial will be held in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Waukon. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until time of services Wednesday at Martin Funeral Home in Waukon.

Survivors include her children, Louis (Kathy) Hegeman of LaGrange, IL and Miriam (Richard) Esmail of Glen Ellyn, IL; five grandchildren, Bridget (Michael) Wheeler, Patrick Hegeman, Margaret Hegeman and Brendan Hegeman; two great-grandchildren, Savannah Rose and Delaney Grace Hegeman; and a sister, Dorothy Dorkins of Springfield, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert, who died in 1991; and two sisters, Vernie Ruth Stafford and Geraldine Laureyne Stafford.
