Mrs. Keehn's Rites Friday

Final rites were conducted in Zion United Church of Christ in Waukon Friday, May 25 at 1:30 p.m. by the Rev. Walter Clausing for Mrs. Darllene Keehn, 39, who died Tuesday, May 22 in the Lutheran hospital in LaCrosse, Wis. following a short illness.

Interment was in the Monona cemetery with Martin funeral home in charge of arrangements. Robert Opfer, James Kruger, A. V. Palmer, Willis Timmerman, Jason Ferguson and Milton Klima were pallbearers.

Darlene Topel was born Dec. 6, 1933 in Allamakee county and was a daughter of Herman and Selda Topel. She was educated in the local schools.

Survivors are a daughter Joyce and a son Robert, her mother, six brothers, Wilburt of Milwaukee, Wis., Wayne, Detroit, Mich., Gary, in the Army in Yumaan, Ariz., and Robert, Donald and Alfred of Waukon, and a sister Mrs. Ruben (Eileen) Shindoll of Waukon. She was preceded in death by her father.

Mrs. Keehn was a member of Zion United Church of Christ.
