Sad Death of Little Child
We briefly mentioned last week the death of Roger Leppert, which took place Tuesday evening at the Waukon hospital. Death was caused by peritonitis, following the removal of a ruptured appendix.
Roger John Leppert was born in French Creek township Nov. 6, 1931, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Leppert. He was a bright, interesting child and the family have the sympathy of many friends in their loss. Besides his parents, Roger is survived by two brothers, Howard, 4 years old, and Robert, 7 months.
Funeral services were held at Zion Reformed church Friday afternoon, the Rev. F. E. Stucki officiating, and were largely attended. Mary and Margrette Thorson, and Arlene and Dorothy Dee served as flower girls. The pall bearers were Bertram and Glen Feuerhelm, Harold Dee and Charles Reisdorf. A lengthy funeral cortege took its way to Lansing where burial was made in Oak Hill cemetery.
