Mother Of Six Passes Saturday

Mrs. George Schellhammer Dies At S. U. I. Hospital From Pneumonia

Mrs. George Schellhammer, a resident of Church, passed away Saturday at the State University hospital in Iowa City. she had been ill ten days with pneumonia and complications.

Mrs. George Schellhammer* was born March 20, 1897, in Illinois, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Uren.

She leaves to mourn her death her husband and six children, her father, Thomas Uren, one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Shogren, and two brothers, Archie Uren of Lansing and Lester Uren of Waterloo.

funeral services were held Tuesday from the Congregational church, with the Reverend C. H. Hoffman officiating. Burial was made in the Lansing Ridge cemetery. The casket bearers were Herbert Hartong, Willard Sandry, Edward Shrogen, Frank Sandry, Carl Christianson and Fred Zimmerman.
