Miss Sophie Frahm Died Last Week Tuesday

After but three days hospitalization at Grandview hospital, La Crosse, Miss Sophie Frahm of May's Prairie died Tuesday evening. Death was due to kidney and Heart complications.

Christened Anna Marie Sophie, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Christian Frahm, and was born Dec. 31, 1868 on the farm where she spent her entire life. She was educated in the rural schools and early in life joined the Methodist church in their neighborhood. The church has been closed for some years, but was opened for the occasion of her funeral on Saturday. The Rev. Elmer Mueller of Guttenberg officiated. during the service James Sires and his niece, Mrs. Ronald May sang several numbers. Burial was in the cemetery near by.

Casket bearers were John Weber, Gene Johnson, Henry Reimer, Charles Hirth, Sam Decker and Dewey Leppert.
