Funeral services for Robert Davenport, 36, of 305 Water st., a resident of Waukegan for the last eight years, were scheduled to be held at 2 p.m. today in the chapel, 408 N. Sheridan rd. Burial was to be in Mount Hope, Wis. Mr. Davenport died Saturday in Lake County General hospital after an illness of about a year. He was born July 26, 1912, in Postville, Ia. Since coming to Waukegan he had been employed in the warehouse at Abbott Laboratories, North Chicago. Surviving are his widow, Esther; a son, David; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.D. Davenport of Woden, Ia.; two sisters, Marge Vineward of Bakersfield, Calif., and Marie Palas of Nakomis, Ill., and a brother, Donald of Woden, Ia.
