WAUKON, Iowa -- Lois Thompson, 77, of Waukon, died Tuesday morning, Dec. 20, 1988, at Good Samaritain Center, Postville.

Services will be at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Martin Funeral Home, Waukon, with burial Thursday in Garden of Memories, Waterloo, where there will be graveside services at 11:30 a.m. Friends may call from 4 p.m. at the funeral home until the time of services at the funeral Home Wednesday.

Mrs. Thompson was a homemaker; and a restaurant cook in Independence for a short time.

She was born July 4, 1911, in Independence, daughter of Jason and Elzora Goodwin. She married Sevrin Thompson in 1947 in Wright county; he died in 1964.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Dolores) Topel of Waukon; 3 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
