Gaylord L. Lawson

Gaylord L. Lawson, 49, Horicon, WI, died March 24, 1986, at St. Michael's Hospital in Milwaukee. Funeral services were March 27 at Faith Community Christian Reformed Church in Beaver Dam, WI, with Rev. Dennis Kamper officiating. Burial was in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Horicon.

Lawson was born Aug. 2, 1936, in Postville, the son of Harold and Verla Seybert Lawson. He was married to Virginia Tillou in 1965 in Horicon.

Lawson was a senior sales engineer for Gleason Reel Corp. of Mayville. He served in the U. S. Navy from 1955-1960. He served as Elder of his church and was active in various church activities.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia; one son, James, Calvin College, Grand Rapids, MI; his mother, Verla Lawson, McGregor; four brothers, Charles of Phoenix, AZ; William of Prairie du Chien, WI; Robert of Logan, Michael of Enterprise, KS; one half-sister, Marjorie Johnson, of La Crescent, MN; one sister-in-law, Annie Lawson of North Freedom, WI; nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother.

Lawson was a 1955 graduate of Mar-Mac High School.
