Rites held for Mrs. Fred Renne.

Funeral services were held Monday, March 20 from Zion Reformed United Church of Christ for Mrs. Fred Renne, 90, of Waukon. The Rev. D. D. Kauffman was the officiating minister and interment was in Oakland cemetery. Donald Deal, Gerald Kurth, Lloyd Bechtel, Leo Ehde, Ralph Renne, and Virgil Herman were pallbearers. Martin Brothers was in charge of arrangements.

Margaretha Kuhn was born July 25, 1876 in Sheboygan, Wis. and was a daughter of Phillip and Charlotte Nagel Kuhn. She was educated in the local schools and Jan. 14, 1914 married Fred Renne in Waukon.

Surviving are two step daughters, Mrs. Ben (Meta) Hansmeier and Mrs. Ben (Laura) Bechtel, both of Waukon, and a foster son, Carl Beall of Luana.

Mrs. Renne died Saturday, March 18 in Waukon Veterans Memorial Hospital. She had been in ill health for some time and was a resident at the Good Samaritan Center.
