Paul Willman
Funeral services for Paul Willman were held Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 1:30 p.m. at the Schutte Funeral Home in Postville. The Rev. Julius L. Peterson officiated. The organist was Marian Schutte, with a solo by Mrs. Leonard Crawford. Interment was in the Postville Cemetery.
Paul Henry Willman, son of William "Will" Willman and Emma (Oldag) Willman, was born March 12, 1903 in Grand Meadow Township, Clayton County, IA. He died Saturday, Sept. 6, 1986 at his home in Frankville.
He attended the Pixler School near his home and then the Oak Hill School near Castalia. On May 6, 1925 he was married to Alma Reinhardt by the Rev. Fink at Postville. They had 2 sons.
They farmed for 18 years, then moved to Frankville where Paul worked as a carpenter.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Emma (Mrs. Victor Meyer).
Surviving is his wife, Alma, two sons, Paul G. and his wife, Dorothy, Eureka Springs, AR and Lyle and his wife, Estella, Poway, CA, 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters, Bertha (Mrs. Ervin Dickman) and Verla (Mrs. Eldo Schutte) both of Postville.
Casket bearers: Byron Schultz, Leonard Crawford, Earl Koenig, Ted Feickert, Leo Berg, Roman Hageman.
