Robert Dahlstrom, age 69, of Colfax, Washington, died Tuesday, September 10, 2002. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 21, 2002, at 10:00 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, Waukon, with Rev. Lynn Groe officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Farmersburg cemetery. Robert John Dahlstrom was born December 11, 1932, in Allamakee County, the son of Frank and Lillian (Cordes) Dahlstrom. He graduated from McGregor High School. On May 3, 1952, he married Shirley Ann Quam. He was a truck driver and spent 20 years driving for Darrel Rogness in Waukon and 20 years with the Webster Lumber Co. in Bangor, Wis.
Robert enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Dahlstrom; two brothers, Alto and Howard; and one sister, Irene Schnuelle. He is survived by three sons, Paul of Colfax, Wash., and Doug and Russ, both of Waukon; one daughter, Roxanne (Charles) Hawkins, Colfax, Wash.; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Helen Wagner, Waukon, Mildred Wellman, Strawberry Point, and Jean Bjorkman, West Salem, Wis.
