Theresa Mary Buege, 84, of New Albin, died Sunday, October 11, 1992, at the Lutheran Home in Caledonia, MN, where she had resided for the last three years.
She was born February 25, 1908, in Dorchester, to Conrad and Sadie (Miles) Dennis. She married Stanley J. Buege on September 18, 1928, at St. John's Catholic Church in Caledonia, MN. He died March 25, 1986.
She was a lifelong resident of the New Albin area. She attended Dorchester area schools. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in New Albin. She was also a member of the altar and rosary society of St. John's Catholic Church.
Survivors include three sons, Glen (Catherine) of New Albin, and Wayne (Gretchen) and Robert (Joanne), both of Caledonia; four daughters, Mrs. Marcella (Don) Althof of Stoddard, WI; Mrs. Robert (Robert) Blair of Waubesha, MN; and Ellie Meyer and Mrs. Grace (Charles) Meyer, both of New Albin; 37 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; one brother, Edward (Edna) Dennis of Lakeland, FL.
In addition to her husband, she was proceeded in death by one sister, Stacia; two brothers, Leo and Raymond; three great-grandchildren, Adam and Tori Pretzer, and Elizabeth Meyer.
Funeral services were Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the New Albin Funeral Chapel in New Albin, and at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, New Albin. Burial was in the church cemetery. Father Henry Charipar officiated.
Haugen-Roble Funeral Home of Caledonia was in charge of arrangements.
