Thomas, Benjamin Frederic, Lansing, Iowa, Banker; born in Lansing, Iowa, Oct 6, 1873; son of James William and Annie M. (Wier) Thomas; educated in high school at Lansing and Upper Iowa Univ., Fayette, Iowa; married at Lansing, Iowa, October 6, 1897 to Fanny Kemble; one daughter: Dorothea. Entered employ of State Bank of Lansing, of which father was pres. 1891; elected assistant cashier, 1893, and upon retirement of father in 1897, became cashier, suceeding to presidency of bank, Jan. 1904. Mason. Republican. Methodist.
