Thanks, Bob. I agree. I think someone must have sent that letter to the cemetery office in France as they have it in the file for the Sgt. Helen Johnston buried there. I also perused the papers online and found several news items of her furloughs and I found her father's obituary.

No obituary was found online for the Iowa Sgt. Johnston in papers after the date of death of the one buried in France.

More research will be needed for the Helen that joined up in Mich. The cemetery person I have contact with in France would like data about the Helen buried there.
