DIED.

At the residence of her sister, Mrs. C. F. Davis, in county “D” Oklahoma, on Saturday, February 3d, 1894, of consumption, Mrs. H. J. Reigel [Riegel], wife of Isaac Reigel [Riegel], of Corning. Mrs. Reigel [Riegel] was born in Adams, County, Iowa, daughter of M. G. and L. E. Evans, who were pioneer settlers in the county. Though young, she fell a victim of consumption, her age being 35 years. She is the seventh in this family to die of this disease in fourteen years. Her marriage to Isaac Reigel [Riegel] occurred in 1887, and as a result of this union, five children mourn the loss of a kind and indulgent mother, and the husband a devoted wife. She was a consistent member of the Christian church, of Brooks. Whilst they mourn her loss, still they are not as those who have no hope, for the promise still remains that she shall hear the call and arise, in the morning, to a glorious immortality. We would offer the sympathy of the community to the family in this bereavement.

Isaac Reigle [Riegle] received word Saturday of the death of his wife, who had gone south on account of lung trouble. On account of the prevailing storms, the death message was much delayed. Mrs. Reigle [Riegle] was a daughter of Mr. Morgan Evans.
