MOTHER DIED

Bert Jenkins received a telegram Saturday morning telling of the death of his mother, Mrs. Rosa Tubbs of San Luis Obispo, California.

Mr. Jenkins has heard no particulars of her death but believes it was sudden and unexpected. He had a very cheerful letter from her at Christmas time which did not indicate illness. Mrs. Tubbs formerly resided in Corning having left here about 20 years ago.

She is survived by her two sons Bert of Corning and Ed who resides in the west.

Mrs. Tubbs was 79 years old.
