Mr. Lyman R. Hoselton was born June 9, 1834 and died December 19th, 1909 after over a month of intense suffering caused by blood poisoning for which medical help was of no avail. His wife preceded him in death about two years ago. He leaves a son, Floyd Hoselton, in New York state, a brother, Marsh Hoselton, near Carbon and a step-daughter, Mrs. Mae Mallaguerra at whose home he died, besides many other relatives and friends to mourn his death. The funeral was held at the M. E. church, at 11 o'clock Sunday, conducted by Rev. A. Y. Cupp, after which the body was laid to rest in the Oakland cemetery. Sympathy is extended by many friends to the sorrowing ones.
