Emma Ada Houck Good

Mrs. Emma Ada Houck Good was born on January 30th, 1872 in Adams County, Iowa and passed away at her home north of Carobn, on March 9th, 1963 at the age of 81 years, 1 month, and days.
She was united in marriage to Richard W. Good in September 4, 1889. To this union was born 9 children, one daughter preceding her in death. The surviving are Mae Perrin of Quincy, Orval Good of California, Dr. Richard Good of Wadsworth, Kansas, Alva Good of Creston, Iowa, Merle Rupe of Henderson, Blanche Finley of Villisca, Vernen Good of Lincoln Nebraska, and Harold Good of Carbon. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 2 preceding her in death and also 20 great-grandchildren. Two brothers survive, Frank and Eli Houck, her brother Charles preceding her in death as also did one sister. Mrs. Good was a member of the Seventh Day Advent Church. A great many relatives, neighbors, and friends will greatly miss this good woman.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Boyd Roland Funeral Home in Corning, Iowa, with Rev. Clare Boos officiating. The music was by Warner rough, Don Routh, and Oak Mack, with Mrs. Elsie dotson pianist. The pall bearers were Richrd Good, Cliff Hock, Hollis Perrin, Verlin Hock, Dean Hill, and Dallas Perrin. She was laid to rest in the Quincy Cemetery.
