Audrey Lois Moore, 79, daughter of Albert Lincoln Dhone and Jessie Florence Perks, was born August 8, 1912 at Carbon and died August 23, 1991 at Mercy Hospital in Corning.
She grew up and attended school in Carbon.
On December 5, 1930 she married Vernon Patrick Moore at Pickering, Missouri. To this union one son was born. They lived in or near Carbon all their married lives. For the past few years she had made her home in Corning with her son.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and three brothers, Stanley, Darl, and Donnie.
She is survived by her son, Albert Leo (Pat) of Corning, a brother, Hollis Dhone and wife Quilla of Prescott; a sister, Virgie Routh and her husband Warren of Boone; two sisters-in-law, Thelma Dhone of Troutdale, Oregon and Delores Claussen of Red Oak; and a brother-in-law, Howard Williams of Council Bluffs.
Services were held August 26 at Coen-Beaty Funeral Home in Corning with Rev. Jonathan Armpriester officiating. Casket bearers were Jim Lee, Ralph Olson, Ed Sorenson, James Walter, Norvell Hock, and Stanley Frederick. Honorary casket bearers were Robert Bell, Cleo Selders, Darwin Dhone, Wayne Goodvin, and C. R. (Dick) Miller.
Burial was in Oakland Cemetery at Quincy.
