Frank P. Chappell, son of Alfred Pierce and Sarah A. Gill Chappell, was born Octoer 3, 1880 in Taylor County, Iowa and passed away at the Rosary Hospital in Corning, Iowa, October 2, 1974 at the age of 93 years, 11 months, and 29 days.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Merce Chappell, who passed away April 18, 1973.
Surivors are two daughters, Mrs. Gail (Frances) Ogburn of Corning, Iowa and Mrs. John (Louise) Patterson of Scio, Ohio, nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held from the Purviance Funeral Home in Scio, Ohio, October 5 at 1:30 p.m., conducted by Rev. Bruce Zimmerman, burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery, Hopedale, Ohio.
