Wilma Faye Ross Zuber was born July 11, 1912 in Adams County, Iowa, the daughter of James Madison Ross and Sylvia Sandburn Ross and entered into rest on September 11, 1977 at the Immanuel Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska at the age of sixty-five years.
She attended school at Methodist Grove, Nodaway, Iowa. On May 10, 1930 she was united in marriage to Russell A. Zuber at Sidney, Iowa; they lived in Iowa until moving to Omaha, Nebraska recently.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Vera Ross, two half sisters, Jessie Higgens and Pansey Schroeder, two half brothers, Merle Ross and James Ross, and one grandson, James Zuber.
She is survived by her husband, Russell A. Zuber, four brothers, Wayne Ross and Charles Ross, Corning; Estel Ross, Red Oak; and Clarence Ross, of Lytton, Iowa, and one half brother, Harold Ross of Shenandoah. One sister, Fern Dillinger, Corning, two daughters, Shirley Woosley, Omaha, Nebraska, and Wilma Mae Timperley, Milliken, Colorado; four sons, James Zuber, Adel, Robert Zuber, Omaha, Nebraska, Richard Zuber, Omaha, Nebraska, and Larry Zuber, Johnstown, Colorado, 18 grandchildren and six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at the Sutphen Funeral Home in Villisca, September 13, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Clair Kerns officiating. Interment was in the Prairie Rose Cemetery, Corning.
Music was by recordings; Casketbearers were Russell Woosley, Rodney Woosley, Ronald Woosley, Randal Woosley, Terry Timperley, Wayne Timperley, Mark Hogue, and Ralph Dillinger. Flower bearers were Doris Cooney and Dorothy Ritnour.
