Services for Alma Viola Myers, 91. Corning, were held Sunday, Oct. 17, from Roland Lindsay Chapel here, with Joe Cook officiating. Burial was in Prairie Rose Cemetery in rural Coming.
Mrs. Myers was born April 27, 1902, in Imogene to Christen and Svendina Nielsen Lund, and died Oct. 12 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home. She was a homemaker having lived her entire life in Adams County.
She also worked at Rosary Hospital and a local restaurant, retiring in 1965.
Mrs. Myers was a member of Emblem Chapter #64, Order of Eastern Star for 63 years.
In August 26, 1923 she married Glenn Darwin Myers in Creston.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; a son-in-law; two brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include two daughters. Betsy Hayward and Darlene (husband Larry) Haggerty of Coming; and two grandchildren.
Casket bearers were Paul Lund, Chuck Lund, Doug Olive, George Anderson, Harold Leonard, and Delman
Leonard.
Memorials can be made to Emblem Chapter #64, of Eastern Star.
