Mrs. Carl Shell received an air mail letter early Friday morning, January 23, 1948, from Rollie Strait of Portland, Oregon, informing her of the sudden death [January 19,1948] of his father, Barney Strait of 2316 N. Argyle Street, Portland, Oregon.
Mr. Strait is a brother-in-law of Mrs. Alice Winstone Walker and Charles Winstone. Mr. and Mrs. Strait visited in our community last summer. He was brought to Forythe, Montana for burial.
