Otho Brown, 97, son of William F. and Maggie Harden Brown, was born in Adams County Dec. 12, 1894, and died March 29, 1992, at Colonial Manor Nursing Home.
In 1905. he moved with his parents to a farm In the Iveyville community In Taylor County where he resided the rest of his life. He received his education in rural schools. In 1917, he married Pearl Gill who died in 1923. They were the parents of one son, Otho Wayne. In 1929, he married Eunice Smith. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen.
He was preceded in death by his first wife; four sisters, Ethel Long, Bessie Walter, Bernlce Bradley and Gladys Shuler and their husbands: also two brothers, Roy and Walter Brown.
He is survived by his wife, Eunice: son Wayne and his wife Marian; one grandson; and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday April 1, at Prairie Rose Cemetery with Joe Cook officiating.
A memorial has been established to the Rose Ann Auxillary.
