Gladys Sarah McClelland was born in Corning, May 10, 1902, and died April 7, 1989, at Clarkson Hospital. Omaha. Neb.
She was the daughter of Robert (Bert) and Olie Gill Gibson. She graduated from Coming High School and attended Nebraska Westyan University at Lincoln, Neb.. where she prepared to be a teacher. She was united in marriage to Marion Francis McClelland in 1929. They made their home in Norfolk. Neb.
She was a 75-year member of the First Methodist Church in Corning and Norfolk, Neb. She served as church organist at Norfolk for many years. She was also active in the Order of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: two sisters: and one brother. She Is survived by two children Marion (Mrs. Dean R.) McGinnes of Whittier. Calif., and Susan (Mrs. Charles R.) Heath of Winston Salem, N.C., four grandchildren, and one greatgrandchild.
Graveside services were held at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Corning, April 8 with Joe Cook officiating. Roland Lindsay Golden Rule Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
