James M Bull was born in Marion County, Indiana, October 5, 1844 and died at his home in Nodaway, Iowa, December 12, 1926 aged 82 yeears, 2 months, and 7 days. He was united in marriage to Serilda Strader at Prairie City, Illinois, September 30th, 1866. to Mr. and Mrs. Bull werre born three children, two boys and one girl. William W., who died in infancy, Anna and Charles Orval.
Mr. Bull came to itow in the spring of 1874 and settled on a farm north of Nodaway where he made his home until 1918 when he moved to Nodaway, there he has since made his home.
when a young man he was converted and united with the Methodist Epicopal church to which faith he has always clung.
He leaves to mourn his going his faithful wife, his one daughter, Mrs. Anna Barker, Nodaway, Iowa and Charles Bull of Villisca, Iowa, ten grandchildren and one great grandchild, besides a host of friends.
Funerala services were held Tuesday afternoon from the Methodist Chruch, Rev. O. R. Jones, pastor of the local M. E. Church in charge of services. Interment was made in Nodaway Cemetery.
