Norma Goldsmith
Word was recieved Wednesday morning from Council Bluffs telling of the death of Norma Goldsmith, aged about 14 years, the only daughter of mr. and Mrs. Oliver Goldsmith of Council Bluffs, formerly of Corning. Appendicitis was reported as the cause of death.
Norma had come to Nodaway to be with her parents for the funeral of her Grandfather, Allie Goldsmith, but was taken sick and was unable to attend the funeral and was rushed back to Council Bluffs to a hospital Tuesday night.
Funeral services will be held from the Corning Methodist Church Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock and burial will be in Prairie Rose Cemetery.
