Mrs. Edward Bridge, the daughter of Isaac and Margerite Geary was born in Missouri November 26, 1882 and passed away December 23, 1960.
She was united in marriage to Edward Bridge on August 22, 1907 and during the same year they united with the Methodist Church in Corning where she was a true and active member ever since.
Survivors include her husband, a brother, Ben Geary of Worthington, Minnesota, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, George, Samuel, and Frankie and 2 sisters, Belle and Nora.
Lottie was a loving companion to her husband. She was very kind to children and was always spreading sunshine by her smile and cheerfulness. She loved beautiful things such as flowers. She always shared with others, treating everyone alike and was a good neighbor. As one put it, after you had been in her presence an hour, you felt like broadening yourself a bit and making your life count a little more for the good.
Services were held Monday, December 26, 1960 at 2 p.m. from the Methodist Church in Corning with Rev. Brown Garlock officiating. Music was by Mrs. Doyle Tranbarger, Mrs. Bert Peckham, and Mrs. Joe Cook. Pallbearers were Marvin Lockwood, Stanley Hoselton, James Geary, Wilbur Harlow, Dale Erskine, and LeRoy Geary. Interment was in Prairie Rose Cemetery.
