Laura Imogene Fudge, 89. of Brooks, was born Dec. 18, 1900, in Taylor County to Willard and Fay Hardisty Thomas and died Nov. 14, 1990, at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Corning.
On Jan. 15, 1919, she married Joseph Fudge who preceded her in death in 1954. She lived all her life in Adams County. She was a homemaker and a member of the Brooks Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Cecil and Virgil; one grandson Larry; and one great-grandson, Tommy Else.
She is survived by three daughters, Freida Bowman of Stuart, Alice Freshour of Corning and Frances Merritt of Omaha, Neb-; 15 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held Nov. 18 at the Brooks Methodist Church with the Rev. Jonathan Arnpriester officiating. Casket bearers were Phil Kinser, Vernon Else, Chris Merritt, Todd Merritt, Mark Freshour and Tom Freshour. Honorary bearers were Randy Mahlburg and Ralph
Hickman. Burial was in Prairie Rose Cemetery with Roland Lindsay Golden Rule Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
