Henry Gourley, aged 56, died of paralysis at his home in Douglas Township. He was born in Washington County, Pennsylvania and came to Adams County in 1860 and had resided in Douglas Township since that time. he was the first of nine children to pass away. the interment was made in Arlington Cemetery beside his first wife. He was survived by his second wife, three sons, and two daughters.
