Mrs. Mina Townsend, the daughter of Mark and Elizabeth Brentnall was born March 28, 1873 at Derbyshire, Claycross, England and passed away June 16, 1964 at the age of 89 years, 2 months, and 18 days.
Survivors include her two daughters, Mrs. Grace Schaub of Corning and Mrs. Dorothy Corey of Shenandoah, Iowa and one son Earl of Corning, also other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James and one son Frank.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 20, at 1 p.m. from the Roland Funeral Home in Corning with rev. Brown Garlock officiating. Music was by Mrs. Joe Cook. Pallbearers were Russell Steele, James Castillo, Charles Townsend, Wally Maddy, Dick Sheffield, and Merle Sheridan. Interment was in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
