Services for Faye L. Insley. 86. Corning, were held Friday, September 1 from Roland-Lindsay Powers Chapel in Corning, the Rev. Richard Layman and the Rev. Robert Smith officiating. Burial was in Methodist Grove Cemetery in Brooks.
Mrs. Insley was born February 17, 1909 in Taylor County, Iowa to Charles T. and Lillian Belle Gustine Kapple and died Wednesday, August 30 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Villisca.
She married Guy Insley in 1951 in South Bend, Indiana. They lived in Mishwaka, Indiana before coming to Corning in the late 1980's. She lived here until moving to the nursing home in 1990.
She worked for Uniroyal Rubber Company and was a member of the Methodist Church.
Mrs. Insley was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant son, brother-in-law and sister-in-law.
Survivors include brothers, Arthur (wife Dorris) Kapple of Corning and Roy (wife Evelyn) Kapple of Council Bluffs, and a sister, Bernice Smith of Red Oak.
Casket bearers were Byron Kapple, Terry Kapple, Don Smith, Marvin Smith, Gene Smith, and Lester Bozwell.
