A large crowd attended the funeral of Lawrence Earl Richards, which was held in the Baptist Church Tuesday at two o'clock. The pastor Rev. J. E. Treloar conducted the services. Music was furnished by the quartet from the church choir. The body was taken to the Wild Rose Cemetery for interment. Lawrence Earl Richards was born July 12, 1895 near Corning, Iowa where he grew to manhood. He died July 20, 1924, aged 23 years. Death was caused by heart failure after an operation for acute appendicitis. In 1914 Mr. Richards was united in marriage to Blanche Laura Gaile and to this union were born four children, Pauline, Gile, Glenn, and Max. He also leaves to mourn his loss, a mother, a father, two brothers, Dale and Lyle, and many friends and relatives. The family has the heartfelt sympathy of the community in their bereavement.
