The death of Miss Allie King of Nodaway occured Saturday, May 15, at the hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa, following a long illness of several years. The boyd was brought to Nodaway where the funeral was held the following Monday at the Methodist Church. The services conducted by Rev. E. S. MacCartney and interment was made in Nodaway Cemetery. Martha A. King was born July 11, 1873 near Marietta, Ohio and was aged 41 years, 10 months, and 4 days. She leaves her step-mother, Mrs. Sarah E. King, aslo her sister, Mrs. D. K. Strain, and her brother, J. H. King, all of Nodaway.
