D. R. Moser died at his home in Sharpsburg Wednesday morning, June 14, following a stroke of paralysis which he suffered Monday night. Mr. Moser had been a resident of Taylor county for many years residing on a farm near Sharpsburg until moving into town in 1936.

David R. Moser was born Mar. 3, 1871 in Manroe county, Ohio and passed away at his home June 14 at the age of 68 years 4 months and 10 days.

On March 3, 1898 he was married to Miss Margaret Ritter making their home near Brooks la. Seven children were born, two dying in infancy.

He is survived by his wife; one son, Martin Moser of Sharpsburg; and four daughters, Mrs William Cochran of Gravity, Mrs. William Orme of Nodaway
Mrs. Wesley Campain of Council Bluffs; and Mrs. Lloyd Cochran of Milan, Mo. Also two sisters, Mrs. Chas. Walters of Prescott and Mrs. H. N. Walters of Nodaway; five brothers, Chas. of Villisca, Fred of Homewood, Kans., Herman of Nodaway, Joe of Council Bluffs and William of Porterville, Calif.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Presbyterian church in Sharpsburg. Burial was made in the Methodist Grove cemetery near Brooks, Ia.
