I know there were many Edward Tracy's, but I don't find a match with your's! Sorry :-( My 2gr grandfather, Edward Tracy, was born in 1845 in Co. Carlow, Ireland, died in 1916, and is buried in Adair Co. Iowa. He had no children named Edward that would fit your later time frame, and all of his children were born in the midwest!

Good luck and I hope you are able to find out more about your husband's grandfather soon!
