Catherine Hofmann, 95, passed away Feb.16 at Greenfield Manor in Greenfield.
Catherine Cleo Hofmann was born Aug.10,1908 to Albert & Mary A. [Dowd] Cox in Greenfield.
Catherine was baptized in the Roman Catholic Church on Oct. 18,1908. She attended Greenfield High School.
On Jan. 10,1927 Catherine was united in marriage to Albert Hofmann. Three children were born to this union Donald Wayne, Mary Ruth & Richard Lee.
Catherine lived many years in Greenfield & had been at the Greenfield Manor since Aug.1999. She enjoyed cooking, visiting with her friends & especially enjoyed her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Albert; her daughter Mary Beth & her granddaughter Sandra Hofmann.
She is survived by her sons Donald Hofmann & wife Sue of Mountain Home, Ark.; and Richard Hofmann & wife Norma of LeClair; 4 grandchildren Susan K.Delaney, Don Hofmann Jr., Diane Gomez & Barbara Fujimoto; several great-grandchildren[ 2 great-great-grandchildren; other relatives & friends.
Funeral services were held Thursday Feb.19 at Steen Funeral Homes in Greenfield with the Rev.Jerry Hoff officiating.
Musical tributes were recorded selections of "Amazing Grace" & "In The Garden".
Pallbearers were Maurie Gomez, Jason Gomez, Ron Elliott, Donald Hofmann Jr., Bob Kirlin & Jim Lisk.
Interment was in the Greenfield Cemetery.
