Grace [Smith] Jensen, 94, a native & longtime resident of Casey, died in California where she had been living.
Grace Smith Jensen was born Dec.31,1909 at Casey, the daughter of John & Leona [Clark] Smith. She grew up in Casey where she attended school.
She was married April 20,1935 to Albert Jensen at Panora. They lived all of their married life in Casey. He preceded her in death in Aug. 1983. Mrs. Jensen had lived in Arizona for the past several years & in California recently near her daughter.
Mrs. Jensen had been a longtime employee at the bank in Casey before retiring; had been a longtime member of the United Methodist Church; a member of the Zetetic Club, the Order of Easter Star & the Casey Women's Study Group.
Memorials may be directed to the Casey Library.
Survivors include 3 daughters Mary VanGlazer of Eldorado Hills, Calif., Betty Westergaard of Des Moines & Pamela Jensen of Placentia, Calif.; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 1 step-great-grandchild & other relatives.
Graveside services will be held at Casey at a later date.
