Karol Jean Sivadge, 77, passed away March 31,2003 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.
She was born June 3, 1925 in Adair County, the daughter of Earl and Vera [Ray] Eshelman.
Karol graduated from Fontanelle High School and later Cosmetology School in Omaha.
On April 15,1947, she and Hamilton Sivadge were united in marriage. Two children were born to this union, Steven and Gloria "Suzi".
The joy of Karol's life was her family. She enjoyed being a wife, mother andgrandmother. Whatever she did, baking, sewing or spending time with her grandchildren, was doen with great love. She shared this special love and generosity with many neighbors and friends through the years.
Karol was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Gene and Albert.
She is survived by her husband Hamilton; children Steve and Joelene Sivadge and Suzi Lowry; grandchildren Amy Sivadge, Mark Lowry and Erik Sivadge; sister Edith Channel; and twin brother Kenneth Eshelman.
Funeral services were held Friday April 4 at the United Methodist Church in Fontanelle with the Rev.Andrew Reubenking and the Rev.Bryan Anderson officiating.
Cynthia Campbell, organist accompanied vocalists Wayne Handley and Ruth Means with "He Touched Me" and "The King Is Coming" and Andrew Reubenking with "I'll Fly Away".
Interment was in the Fontanelle Cemetery.
Steen Funeral Homes provided professional services.
