Mary E.Johnson, 73, of Trail Creek, Ind., passed away Thursday Jan.20,2005, at St.Joseph Regional Medical Center in South Bend, Ind.
Mrs. Johnson was born Sept.11,1931, in Fontanelle to Calvin and Dorothy [Meisenheimer] Lundy.
On Sept. 9,1963, in Michigan City, Ind., she married Richard Johnson, who died July 7,2003.
Mrs. Johnson was the retired librarian at Coolspring Elementary School. Amember of 1st Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Johnson also served as past director of Christian Education for the Church, was a former deacon and elder of the church and a member of the Edith Boyd Circle at the 1st Presbyterian Church.
Preceding Mrs. Johnson in death were her husband and 1 sister Shirley Heness.
Survivors include 2 sons Jeffrey Jhonson and wife Kathleen Johnson of South Bend, Ind., and David Johnson and wife Mary of Walkerton, Ind.; 2 step-daughters Jennifer West and husband Samuel of LaPorte, Ind., Suzanne Hardesty of Michigan City, Ind.; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and 1 brother Richard Lundy of Greenfield.
Funeral services were held Jan.24, at 1st Presbyterian Church, Michigan City, Ind., with the Rev.Nancy Kahaian officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
