PRESCOTT-Shirley Bray Culver,52, a former Union and Adams County teacher, died Thursday afternoon at Good Samaritan Hospitalin Phoenix, Ariz., of cancer after a 4 1/2-month illness.
Services will be in Phoenix. Arrangements are pending at Larkin Family Funeral Home in Creston. Visitation will be at the funeral home. A graveside service will be at Summit Cemetery, east of Prescott.
Mrs. Culver was born Nov.24,1927 in rural Prescott to Eugene and Ila Wood Bray. She married Wayne Culver June 1,1948 in Prescott. They moved to Glendale in 1960, where she taught in the elementary school.
She was a member of the Phoenix Central Church.
Survivors include; her husband Wayne of Glendale; son Randall Culver, and daughters Kay Eagle and Laurie Ellington all of Phoenix; 3 grandchildren; her parents of Prescott; a brother Keith Bray of Ralston, Neb., and sisters Mrs. Ray [Virlee] Walter and Mrs. Stan [Mary] Smisek both of Prescott.
